Brenna and I had a rough day today. I am actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow. She absolutely does not listen to me. I was pretty successful when it came to disciplining Braeden, so that is why this is so frustrating for me. She just laughs at me! If Daddy raises his voice to her, she immediately begins to cry and stops what ever she is doing wrong. Today she actually started to unwrap some of the presents under the Christmas tree. She was looking at me the whole time. It was pretty obvious she was testing her limits with me. We have had presents under the tree for weeks now, and she has never had any desire to mess with them. Now she just wants a reaction out of me. I am about at the end of my rope.
Dear Brenna,
Mommy wants you to be a well-behaved, obedient little girl. I need you to start listening to me and understanding that the things I am trying to teach you now are going to make you into the kind of person you will be in the future. I love you and only want the best for you. Let's get past this "terrible two" stage in a hurry. I think we will both be much happier!
Love you,
Mommy

Oh Kelly...it was one of those days for me with Zachary. In fact he reached into our pen drawer and grabbed super glue. When I heard the drawer open I ran into the kitchen to find him using the super glue as chapstick. TOO LATE....His lips were sealed. Because he started screaming immediately (I think it burned), it ripped his lips apart pulling all the soft tissue with it. After being on the phone for 20 minutes with poison control he was okay. Like I said it was one of those days around here too. Hang in there. One of these days we will be lonely and miss our kids. Calagon take me away!

Hi Kelly! I linked you up on my blog, hope you don't mind...
Just have to tell you that I don't believe a word of this. :) I love that child....she is extremely well-behaved over here. Or maybe it's just that her disobedience pales in comparison to Ava's? (Yeah, sorry about that. Hope this weekend went okay with the Mean bunny.)

Hi Kelly,
I went to school with Ed and seen your website on a friend of mine's blog (Cori). Just thought I would say hello, welcome you to blogging (it is so addictive-especially for me and my whole "mommy blogging addiction") and tell you how cute your kids are.

Hi Kelly-
I am also friends w/ Nickie and Cori and have actually known Ed since we were born...
I hate to be the one to break it to you...but 3 was worse than 2 for me. Hang in there, it just means that you are raising a very strong, secure future woman :)
